Anti-Issue 7 group Future Shaker Library has solicited over 475 signatures from Shaker residents, including former Ohio Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher and former Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Mary Boyle.

Issue 7 has been endorsed by various community groups, such as the Shaker Heights League of Women Voters and the Democratic Club, and by elected officials, including Board of Education President Jeffrey Isaacs.

Shaker voters will decide whether or not to pass the $1.9 million library levy May 8 at their polling location.
