Pizza: The Good, the Bad and the Gross

Pepperoni is no longer the most exciting topping on your pizza. Recently, the district’s food-service provider, AVI, has been topping its pizzas with some interesting choices. We understand that the  company doesn’t want to waste food. That being said, we don’t want our meals to return the next day and some things just don’t belong on a pizza. Adding buffalo chicken to a pizza just makes it a meat pizza. If you can just think of it as another layer of cheese, adding macaroni and cheese to a pizza is only a little bit questionable. The real wonder is adding foods such as mashed potatoes. It’s nice to have some variety in our meal choices, but no one objects to the classic pizza. One slice of cheese pizza, please.
