Sean Brown, 2014 Vice President

Why did you decide to run?

“I feel like I really want to participate in Student Council,” Sean Brown said. He wants his class to be well informed and believes he can achieve that.

Did you run last year or at any other time. Have you held office previously?

Although he said has been asked to run before, this is Brown’s first time running for Student Council.

What’s your campaign strategy? Are you using social media?

In addition to posters, Brown has used both Instagram and Facebook and plans on passing out cupcakes.

Why should people vote for you? What are your advantages over the other candidates?

A SGORR leader and MAC Scholar, Brown cited his good communication and leadership skills as helpful traits for Student Council. Also, “I know a lot of people,” he said, meaning that people would respect and listen to him as vice president.

If elected, what three things do you need to achieve to feel you have been successful?

Brown wants to involve more people in class events, make a difference in the school, and have a “great, extravagant prom,” he said.
