Why did you decide to run?
Hope Gerald has been on and observed Student Council since her freshman year and now thinks that being treasurer fits her best because of her creative ideas and her love of business.
Did you run last year or at any other time? Have you held office previously?
Gerald ran freshman year but lost. She has been a representative for three years.
What’s your campaign strategy? Are you using social media?
Gerald wants to inform her class that they are currently on a good track and they will stay on track.
Why should people vote for you? What are your advantages over the other candidates?
Aside from her three years of Student Council experience, Gerald ran a business, so she knows about finances. She also has a general passion for the position, hoping to finish her last year in a positive way.
If elected, what three things do you need to achieve to feel you have been successful?
Gerald’s mission is to see the council’s plans accomplished, to get the full Student Council experience and to make a positive impression on her class.
