Hutchings Seeks Student Input
Superintendent Gregory C. Hutchings, Jr. has created the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committee to enhance the connection between students and the administration. He has created the to do so.
Below is a link to the PDF of the application for the committee. Its aims include advising the superintendent on some of the district’s issues as well as “assist[ing] in the development of solutions to district challenges,” according to the application. The committee is devised to diversely represent the student body. There are 15 high school student advisers already in place, and Hutchings intends to select an additional five students through the application process. A link to the application form appears below.
Interested students should turn in a completed application to Mary Lynne McGovern in the main office by Sept. 18. Selection will be announced Sept. 23.
