Evan Barragate (‘23) is in his third year with The Shakerite, writing as a Campus and City reporter. Reporting as a Journalism I student his freshman year, Evan wrote an article about the tainted relationship between Black Shaker citizens and the local police department following instances of police brutality that hit national news. He was also part of a podcast group that recorded a comedic episode about students’ dreams for The Shake. Outside of school and The Shakerite, Evan enjoys traveling with his family and going out with his friends.
