The Shakerite

Hannah Kornblut, Columnist
Hannah Kornblut (‘18) is in her fourth year with The Shakerite, and is returning as a columnist for the Opinion section. As a junior, she was an Opinion editor, composing columns regarding the stigma around tampons, political ideology and composed Trump satire pieces with co-editor Emily Montenegro.  During her sophomore year as a Spotlight editor she covered the high school production of “Romeo and Juliet,” the effects of homework on teacher’s sleep, and an updated version of JFSA’s “Know Abuse” play that performs for each year’s freshman class. As a freshman staff reporter she also covered events such as the TEDxSHHS event and investigated the challenges for attaining the rights to “Les Miserables.” Outside of school, Hannah is a part of the cross country team, works with Know Abuse, and enjoys reading.
